Bhaadrapad Maas is the 6th month of Hindu Lunar calendar year. The following Vrat and festivals fall in this month.

(1) Bhaadrapad Krishn Ashtamee - Krishn Janmaashtamee
Bhagavaan Krishn was born on this day in Rohinee Nakshatra. Vrat is kept on this day, Bhagavaan Krishn is worshipped and Phalaahaar Naivedya is prepared to offer to Him. Some devout devotees keep fast till 12 in the night, and then take Prasaad only after Krishn is born.

(2) Bhaadrapad Shukla Teej - Harataalikaa Teej
Haratalikaa Teej falls on Shraavan Shukla Teej. It is celebrated by married women for the long life of their husbands.

(3) Bhaadrapad Shukla Chaturthee - For Shiv Jee
Take bath, donate, keep fast.
Feed Braahman Maalpooaa, and feed sweet and salty Pooaa to her both in-laws.
