Vaishaakh Shukla Triteeyaa - Akshaya Teej
The Daan, Snaan, Poojaa, Tap, Dhyaan (Meditation) done on Akshaya Teej is Akshaya (indestructible), that is why it is called Akshaya Teej. It is not only good Karm, but even bad Karm too become indestructible, that is why one should avoid, as much as possible, to do bad Karm on this day. One should always do every good Karm on this day. It is said that Tretaa Yug started on this day.
