Ved-Resources
It is difficult to understand the Ved because of their archaic
language and terminology. The six
Vedaang should help in understanding them - these are Shikshaa,
Vyaakaran, Chhand, Nirukt, Jyotish and Kalp. These deal with the
modes of chanting, grammar, details of meters of Vaidik poetry,
meanings and explanations of words etc. There are several commentaries
for them. Saayanaachaarya's commentary is considered the best among
them.
