35-Miscellanea in Ved-2

Nirvaan word is not found anywhere in Ved.

What is most ironical is that the zodiac which is supposed to comprise the Mesh, Vrisha etc Raashi of 12 equal division, is non-existent in the Ved, the Vedaang Jyotish and even astronomically.

Brahmaa word is not found in Ved, although Vishnu and Shiv exist very importantly, especially Shiv as Rudra.

No evidence of child marriage and polygamy is found in Ved, though both were subsequently practiced in most parts of India.

More hymns are addressed to Indra in Ved than to any other deity.

16 Mantra of Rig Ved (Hymn 10-90) are known as Purush Sookt. This is the only hymn in the entire Rig Ved which uses all four words - Braahman, Raajanya (Kshatriya), Vaishya, and Shoodra.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. The term Bhaarat is mentioned in Rig Ved, Yajur Ved and Atharv Ved.
2. The term Maagadh is mentioned in Atharv Ved - 3 times.
3. The term Bang is mentioned in Rig Ved and Yajur Ved - 4 times.
4. The Nakshtra, Raashi Chakra, observation of Dhruv as mentioned in Grihya Sootra and tradition of ascertaining motion of Dhruv (the precession of equinox) regarded as Siddhi in Yog are clear indications continuity of Aaryan Vaidik culture in Bhaarat (India),
5. Pratimaa (idol) has been mentioned in Rig Ved and since then continuity of Moorti Poojaa (idol worship) in Bhaarat Varsh, Since, this is crucial as tons of misleading propaganda happened in the past that Moorti Poojaa is A-Vaidik, here is the reference of that Mantra from the Rig Ved - (10.130).
