Law of Karm, Value Systems for Success :
Life is Fleeting, Desire is Flourishing
Day and night, dusk and dawn, winter and spring come repeatedly. Time sports, life is fleeting. Yet one does not leave the gusts of desires!
The purpose of our existence in this world is to realize the Self, to find our real identity. Our real nature is Divinity. We are ignorant about our Godhead. Our ignorance expresses itself as desires. These desires prevent us from recognizing our own Self. Desires veil the Divinity within. The purpose of human existence is to get rid of that desire, which stands between you and GOD.
In every religion, desire is personified as evil that stands between man and God. In Hinduism desires are personified as Asur, in Buddhism desires are depicted as Maraa, in Christianity it is personified as Satan and in Islam it is represented by Shaitaan.
Desires cause stress and mental agitations. Stress is mental agitations caused by unfulfilled desires. Desires make you dependent on worldly pleasures. Hence desires are personified as evil.
Delusory nature of the World: Conquer False Pride
Youth also has no sustenance. Aging is unavoidable and disease can occur at any moment. Thus, youth can go in a split of seconds. Reflect over these inevitabilities. Review it over and over again. Realize its delusory nature and thus curb the pride of wealth, kindred and youth.
Time crushes all these gradually, often in a split of seconds. Thus, for our happiness, we are dependent upon factors over which we have no control. The only thing that you have, which remains unaffected, on which you can depend, is your own Self.
For an impenetrable shield stand within your own Self. That is the only security. But the problem is, while you are here in this world, you are enticed by the external wealth for inner security. We are dependent upon external wealth for inner security and are completely oblivious of our mission and purpose of life.
