On Talking |
Better a slip on the stone floor than a slip of the tongue.
He who knows, does not talk; he who talks, does not know.
He who truly knows, has no occasion to shout.
At a dinner party we should eat wisely, but not too well; and talk well,
but not too wisely.
Always and never are two words you should always remember never to use.
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time,
