Measurements

What is measured on Fujita scale
(1) Hurricane,  (2) Earthquake,  (3) Tsunami,  (4) Tornado.

The Fujita Scale (F-scale) or Fujita Pearson Scale is the scale for rating Tornado intensity.

What is measured on the Beaufort scale?
(1) Earthquakes,  (2) Wind,  (3) Voltage,  (4) Radioactivity

The Beaufort scale is a scale of wind velocity ranging from 0 (calm) to 12 (hurricane). The scale was devised in 1805 as a means of describing the effect of different wind velocities on ships at sea. It is named after an admiral in the British navy, Sir Francis Beaufort (1774-1857).

What does a Barometer measure?
(1) Wind speed,  (2) Air pressure,  (3) Air temperature,  (4) Relative humidity

A Barometer is a scientific instrument used in meteorology to measure atmospheric pressure.

By Definition a Barrel Holds How Many Gallons of Crude Oil?
(1) 12,  (2) 24,  (3) 42  (4) 68

A barrel of crude oil holds 42 gallons of oil. Originally there were 40 gallons to a barrel. However, that was changed in the mid-19th century to give a little extra so consumers wouldn't feel "cheated." By 1872, the standard oil barrel was firmly established as 42 US gallons.

What are Ohms the measurement of?
(1) Energy,  (2) Frequency,  (3) Pressure,  (4) Resistance

The ohm is the standard unit of electrical resistance, named after German physicist Georg Simon Ohm. It is formally defined to be the electrical resistance between two points of a conductor when a constant potential difference applied between these points produces in this conductor a current of one ampere. The resistance in ohms is numerically equal to the magnitude of the potential difference.
