9-Sharala Mahaabhaarat

Sharalaa Mahaabhaarat is the first attempt to rewrite the great epic Mahaabhaarat in  Udiyaa language. It was written  by Sarala that is why its name is Sarala Mahaabharat. Saralaa is the poet of 15th century AD and is considered the Aadi Kavi of Udiyaa language.

A book entitled "Introducing Saaralaa Mahaabhaarata" has been published in January 2013. Its author is BN Patnaik, and it is published by Central Institute of Indian Languages, Manasa Gangotri, Mysore (Pin: 570006), India. It presents a number of important episodes from Sarala's Mahabharata and interprets them in the spirit of the text.
