Sarp Yagya

Isaac Asimov in his book - "An Intelligent Man's Guide to Science" (1955) had described the effects of Brahmaastra used by Ashwatthaamaa in Mahaabhaarat and stated that it had the same as effect of Hydrogen bomb. Pareekshit was killed by Takshak Naag of Takshashilaa region in Kali Yug year 60 (3042 BC). Janamejaya took revenge by massacring of Naag which was called Naag Yagya. It took about 28 years to make a Dig-vijaya of the country and then take revenge. On completion of that, he had to do purification for mass-murders and on the next solar eclipse on 27-11-3014 BC, he granted lands at Kedaar Naath, and Raam Mandir at Jangam Vaadee on the banks of Tung or Tungbhadraa River, and at 4 other places whose Pattas are still existing.

Guru Govind Singh Jee, 10th Guru of Sikh had constructed fort and a temple where Janamejaya had first inflicted defeats to Naag king. Places of massacre were named as such - Harappaa = heap of bones, Moin-jo-daaro = place of dead people. These ruins are not the start, but the end of Naag empire of that region. That region was further devastated in 2634 BC when Saraswatee River dried and corresponding extra waters in Gangaa washed away Hatstinaapur, when king Nicakshu had to shift to Kaushaambee (8 generation after Yudhishthir). In this period of national calamity and disorder, King Paarshwanaath of Vaaraanasee took Sanyaas in 2634 BC when Jain Yudhishthir Shak started (Jina Vijaya Mahaa Kaavya).
