Bheem
Came across this legend on a website about Gorakhnaath. This is one of the several legends about Gorakhnaath the site has. Legends about Gorakhnath frequently assume that the great Yogee is not bound by time or place.

It is said that when Bheem, lay benumbed with cold on the snow-covered Himaalaya mountain, Gorakhnaath revived him and made him king over the country stretching from the sources of the Ganges to Bhootaan.

A similar tradition has it that, during Yudhishthir's journey through the Himaalaya to Heaven, his brethren fell behind and perished one by one. Only Bheem survived. He was saved by Gorakhnaath and he made him king of Nepal.

Yet another legend on the site speaks of the the Sarp Satra of Janamejaya. The variations in the names of the Mahaabhaarat characters are interesting. Here is the text of the legend from the site:--

“In the story of Nirmal Dai, the Naag Princess who was married to Paraag (Pareekshit) and on whose account the war of extermination of serpents was carried on, Naag Tatig finally slew Paraag’s. When Paraag's posthumous son, Janmegi (Janamejaya), attained the age of 12, he began to reign; and, finding out the cause of his father's death, sought the life of Tatig. Tatig in going to kill Paraag besought the aid of Macchhendranaath (Matsyendra Naath) and "remembered Gorakhnaath". In seeking to escape Janmegi, Tatig appealed for help in turn to ascetics, to Shiv, to Macchhendra Naath and to Gorakhnaath, in vain; but he finally escaped by meditation on Krishn.”
