A Guru and a Disciple

The Disciple : "Master, why didn't you teach me any precept? I know that my friends who practice with a great master have to observe many precepts."
Master : "If you are awareness of your mind all the time, you don't need any precept or rule. You only think, speak and act good.
The Disciple : "Why other masters have so many disciples and you only keep a few?"
Master : "There are three types of disciples I will not keep. The overturned vessel cannot receive any teachings. The vessel which has a hole in it will leak and cannot hold any teachings and the tainted vessel will adulterate the teachings."
The Disciple : "No wonder you always remain poor. Other masters who have so many disciples are very rich and have the temples built by disciples."
Master : "If I keep thinking of getting more disciples and building a big temple, then my mind is always outside of me and so confused. I prefer to keep my mind within so that I am always peaceful and bliss with the divine.
