Chaanakya is Publicly Executed
Chandragupt vows to protect his Aachaarya. Magadh wants to attack Karavaasaa.
Mrignayanee's mother sent her a letter of this matter. Mrignayanee started
weeping reading that letter. Nand came there and saw her weeping. He asked her
why was she weeping? He saw the letter too.
Mrignayanee said - "Magadh army wants to attack Karavaasaa, but why?"
Nand explained her - "It is just a politics. Whoever comes here, comes with our
wish and who goes from here, goes with our wish too."
Next day the public announcement
was made that a public execution will take place for Chaanakya. Chandragupt was
also listening to this. Both came in the morning and saw Chaanakya's execution.
All people saw that Chaanakya was killed. The killers' sword was spotted with
blood. Purush Datt and Chandragupt were crying. Nand was happy. Badar Bhatt also
came to Chandragupt. All were sad except Nand.
Purush Datt said - "For a few
years all was going well, then what was the need for him to develop quarrel with
Nand?"
But Chandragupt believed that his Aachaarya cannot die because his dream was not
yet fulfilled. My story is finished with him - but this cannot happen because
nobody else can fulfill this dream and that is why he cannot die. We just have
to find him, that is all. I will go and find him."
"But how you will find him? He is already dead."
Chandragupt said - "I do not know, but I will bring him for sure." and all set
off to find Chaanakya.
As they were on the road, Chandragupt saw Mrignayanee going in a palanquin. He
ran to her, but Purush Datt and Badar Bhatt stopped him saying that she was
under strict security. Mrignayanee was going to river to worship her that she
fell in the water. Chandragupt saved her.
Episode 62
Chandragupt Goes to Find Chaanakya, Chaanakya is Poisoned
Guards told Nand that Mrignayanee was not in the palace. They looked for her but
could not find her. Nand was very angry. He instructed his people that who will
find her out, or bring her news, he will be rewarded heavily.
He said - "It seems that Chaanakya has done this."
Amaatya said - "But Chaanakya is dead." But Nand knew that Chaanakya was not
dead. He was exchanged with some other man.
Nand went to Chaanakya and asked him - "Tell me where is Mrignayanee? Execution
of death was smaller for you. When you are in our hold, why should we execute
you? I will give you poison. I will destroy the capacity of your thinking and
understanding capacity. You will not be able to speak even." and Nand inserted
the poisonous needle to Chaanakya. Chaanakya fell down.
Chandragupt saved Mrignayanee and
said to her - "Now I will return you to Nand and get rewarded."
Mrignayanee requested him - "Take me to Karavaasaa. My grandfather (Naanaa) will
give you lots of reward."
Chandragupt said - "I cannot do this." Mrignayanee requested him to take her to
Karavaasaa but CHandragupt did not agree for it. Chandragupt thought, "If I took
her to Karavaasaa, I will not be able to find my Aachaarya and my aim is to find
Aachaarya.
The poison started affecting
Chaanakya. At the ame time a guard came and informed Nand that Mrignayanee had
come in the palace. Amaatya saw Chandragupt bringing Mrignayanee inside the
palace. Nand also came there. He immediately took Mrignayanee in his arms. When
Mrignayanee opened her eyes, she found herself in Nand's palace. She got very
sad and so went inside.
Chandragupt said - "If you love Mrignayanee so much, keep her under security
too."
Amaatya said to Nand - "Hr is the same boy who saved the Princess from Yavans in
Karavaasaa."
Nand said - "What was your name? Yes, Maurya. You have saved Mrignayanee, so ask
what do you want to ask?"
Chandragupt said - "What I need, you will not be able to give to me."
Nand said - "You are standing before Nand. Speak, what do you want?"
Chandragupt Finds
Chaanakya
At the same time Chandragupt heard Chaanakya's voice, so he pointed his finger
to that side [from where that sound was coming, by chance that sound was coming
from the direction where Nand's throne was kept, so Nand thought that
Chandragupt wanted that throne] and said - "I need that." Nand got angry and
said - "You want the throne?"
Chandragupt said - "No Mahaaraaj, I am an ordinary soldier, how can I desire for
your throne? I am just asking the opportunity to serve you in your security
force."
Nand said - "I liked your thoughts."
Amaatya said - "This is impossible. One has to pass a test even to enter Magadh
army, and then to enter the personal security? It is impossible. This
opportunity cannot be given to you."
Chandragupt was about to go saying - "I told you before that you will not be
able to give it to me. I go now."
Nand thought something and kept him in his personal security and said -
"Training will be arranged for you for this work and I will personally inspect
that."
Chaanakya has been remembering
everything so that he could keep everything remembered even after the effect of
poison.
When Chandragupt was in the personal security of Nand, he again heard that voice
so he proceeded towards the closed door.
Another guard stopped him and asked - "Where are you going towards that side?
That is Kaal Motharee (death cell)."
Chandragupt asked - "If it is death cell, then why is it not strictly guarded?
Magadh's greatest enemy is still alive there."
Chandragupt thought, "If Aachaarya is still alive, then consider that your
disciple has come to free you."
Episode 63
Chandragupt Meets
Chaanakya
Chandragupt proceeded towards that cell. A guard was following him. Seeing the
guard following him, Chandragupt hid himself somewhere to save himself from that
guard. He guard went away.
Nand asked Mrignayanee - "How you were treated there?"
Mrignayanee replied - "Nothing special." Chandragupt was listening all this.
Nand said - "You stayed with him for a full night, how I can believe you?"
Chandragupt recollected that Mrignayanee requested him to take her to Karavaasaa,
and when Nand started misbehaving with her, he took out his sword.
Guard [who was following
Chandragupt] told Amaatya that he saw Chandragupt going towards the death cell,
but he disappeared from his eyes. Amaatya came to Nand and said to him - "I have
come to you because of the security purpose. You have appointed the boy
recently, he has disappeared."
At he same time Chandragupt came there and aid - "I was lost here, the then I
saw that the King was alone here and there was nobody here for his security so I
came for his security." Seeing Amaatya standing there he went away.
Chandragupt proceeded towards that
death cell again, the guard stopped him going to that side that it was forbidden
to go that side.
Chandragupt aid - "I want to go to the Royal doctor. When I was saving the
Princess, I had this wound." Chandragupt brought some medicine from the Royal
doctor and went away quietly after keeping it near her.
On the other side, Chaanakya was
struggling with his senses. Nand and Amaatya also came there.
Amaatya said - "Although he is a traitor so he must be punished, but he is an
Aachaarya too, that is why it is not proper to punish him this way."
Nand inserted several poisonous needles in Chaanakya's head to destroy his
consciousness.
Chandragupt made up his mind to free Chaanakya the same night and he set off the
same night. Security was tight, but its guard was sleeping there only.
Chandragupt took the imprint of Amaatya's seal on a paper.
Nand said to Mrignayane - "We have
destroyed Karavaasaa."
Chandragupt thought that Chaanakya said - "Whether you are on any greatest
mission, if you see that some weak person is suffering from tyrrany, you should
first save him. This is the identification of a brave man." So Chandragupt went
there and held his hand because he was beating Mrignayanee. Nand imprisoned
Chandragupt.
Chandragupt said - "I heard with my own ears that he wanted to afflict you
mentally by imprisoning her. You should have known your enemy's tactics soon. i
was guarding your priceless treasure."
Amaatya came to Nand and said to
him - "I have to go on a security tour for one day, so you stay under your
security armor."
Nand said - "Don't worry. This Maurya is with me. He will take care of me."
Chandragupt wrote a letter to free Chaanakya, put Amaaty's seal on it and took
that fake Amaatya's letter and kept on the guard's table. Guard started going
inside and as soon as he went inside, Chandragupt killed all guards sitting
outside. He jumped inside the compound climbing on the wall. There he fought
with inside guards. He killed many guards there too. Searching for Chaanakya, he
reached above that cell where he was lying. He heard Chaankya's voice from
below. He started calling "Aachaarya, Aachaarya" but since Chaanakya was not in
his full senses, he could not respond either physically or mentally.
Chandragupt also could not do anything as he was above, and his hand could not
reach Chaanakya.
