Durgaa Sapt Shatee-2
From Pranav Pandya's
lecture
Recite 4th Shlok of 4th Chapter
daily.
Who cares for
himself only, he is called thief, and who cares for others he is called the
Yagya Kartaa. Our whichever Karm help others they all are Yagya. We are not
independent, we are all dependent on each other. Tap gives security, Punya gives
means. Where Yagya are always done, Punya always live there.
Devtaa are raised up
by Yagya, in turn the same Devtaa will progress you. The feeling of "giving" (Denaa)
makes a man Devtaa, give anything - give Yash (fame), health, food, anything.
Whatever seed we will sow in this world, it will surly grow; that is why do
always good to others. It
will surely give you fruit tomorrow,
if not today.
You may recite
Kanakdhaaraa Stotra (written by Shankaraachaaraya Jee) 1008 times.
This Strot was recited by Shankar to give money to the woman who gave hin a dry
Aamalaa. She who gave him dry Aamalaa, was also not Daridra (extremely poor),
because Devtaa give even without asking.
The feeling of "I
and mine" gives birth to sin.
Fate is the joint logical result of Karm and style of living.
Why can't we
impliment Geetaa in our life? Because we have adopted such a life style that we
cannot implement Geetaa in our life.
Nishkaam Karm means - doing any Karm without the desire of any result
A-Karm (or compare with A-Karmanya) means "not to do any Karm.
Yagya Karm should be
full of positivity. Karm has come from Brahm (Ved and thought).
Vedaant (the highest Gyaan) removes discrimination.
Ved, Vedaant, thoughts, and Karm are synonyms.
Sat Gun takes us towards Light
Raj Gun takes us towards Pravritti
Tam Gun takes ud towards Moh and Jadataa
Mahishaasur is also
worshipped, as his severed head is in Devee's left hand
in the form of lion
Gajaraaj is
worshipped in the form of ram - he fought with Devee in several forms.
Vaasanaa comes in
several forms to Saadhak to disturb him, but if it is transformed, it
changes in Bhakti.

Raajaa Surati and Samaadhi Vaishya
There lived a robber named Durgam in Shree Rangam on the banks of Kaaveree.
There lived a prostitute also who was very beautiful.
The disciples of Raamaanujaachaarya complained about this, he said - "Why do you
look at that side?"
Raamaanujaachaarya called her, she thought that he was the worshipper of beauty.
Do Niyat
(prescribed) Karm. Niyati word comes from Niyat, and Niyati means Bhavishya
(future)
--------------------------------------------------------
Hope and Mamataa (attachment) is world and being detached from them is Mukti.
Hope and Mamataa bring sorrow. Looking at anything with faults is not good,
increase your Shraddhaa. Bring both in Saadhanaa.
Vairaagya (detachment) and practice both are together. Try to control your mind
with detachment and practice.
Vairaagya increases looking with faults, and Shraddhaa is increased by practice.
Whoever looks at other peoples' faults blocks and
disintegrates his
own personality. Whoever develops Shraddhaa he becomes integrated.
General weakness, jealousy, too
much talking, negativity should not come.
Shraddhaa is the that condition of mind, in which consciousness goes beyond the
questions.
When people start getting Bodh (knowledge), then there starts Gyaan; and when
Gyaan increases, Shraddhaa increases.
Buddhi (intellect) cannot teach any new thing, it can only make accessible to
the mind, while Shraddhaa can teach you a new thing.
---------------------------------------------------
Swabhaav (Swa + Bhaav) is made up of Sanskaar. All living beings obtain
knowledge according to their Sanskaar. Whatever Sanskaar are in our mind. To
understand the aim of life is Swa-Dharm.
Rajo Gun creates Kaam, Krodh and
Moh (attachment). A human being never becomes satisfied with Gyaan. Kaamanaa
(desires) creates Krodh (anger).
Moh is of several types - Moh for work, Moh for wealth, Moh for wife and
children. Gyaan is covered by Kaam (desire).
The soul is to free from one Karm bondage, but it binds itself in the bondage of
Karm.
Paraa means higher - Mind is higher than Indriyaan; and soul is higher than
intellect.
There are four means to end desires - life full of Bhakti, live with nature,
Nish-Kaam Karm, service of God
Karm lust is different from Karm Yog.
