Back

Krishn Mahimaa

Krishn's Mahimaa (greatness) is great. There are several incidents by which He has shown that He is for all the living and non-living beings of the world.

Yamalaarjun (trees) - he freed two trees from Naaarad's curse.

Bakaasur (Raakshas) - He killed a bird with His own hands.

Pootanaa (woman Raakshas) - He did not leave even Raakshas women too. He killed her, gave her the status of His mother and sent her to His own Lok.

Kubjaa (woman) - She was only an ordinary woman. He made him beautiful, and stayed with her for one week.

Draupadee (goddess) - She was already the incarnation of Shachee. She did not need any help, still He helped her two times - one by extending her cloth in Dice Game court, and second when she had already eaten food and Durvaasaa with his 10,000 disciples wanted to take food there. Krishn came and satisfied their hunger by eating only a leaf of vegetable.

Shishupaal, Dantvaktra and Paundrak (kings) - Both had to be freed from his curse of Sanakaadi Muni

Married 16,000 Princesses (nobody for Him) - When Krishn killed Bhaumaasur, he had imprisoned 16,000 princesses. He freed them and asked them to go wherever they liked. they all said in one voice that they wanted to marry Him. He married all of them without asking anything else.
