8th House

Raman says, if the 8th House and 8th Lord are both affected by malefics (Raahu, Ketu, Saturn and Mars) both in the Raashi and Navaansh, then the individual is sure to have an unconventional marriage.

In Indian astrology 8th House deals with immorality, cheating and dishonesty. It belongs to other side or hidden areas or the unknown ones, so one can have a parallel marriage or an affair too; but the 7th House is still valid for marriage. When the Lord of 8th House aspects Venus, he can do cheating from husband. Of course this lone aspect is not the only one to do this - there are some other aspects also responsible for this.
[In this case, if somebody wears a gem for 8th Lord, he gets strengthened and his mere aspect brings more trouble. And if the lady had passed the whole Mahaa-Dashaa of the 8th House Lord and his two Anter-Dashaa and nothing such happened, it means that maybe that gem had worked.]

8th Bhaav shows what are the circumstances whilst having divorce, if it is peaceful or in struggle (especially in Navaansh). It means affliction to the 8th House and the 8th Lord will make the native have a parallel marriage. So which House, 7h or 8th? should be considered for marriage? And how can we ascertain this in an individual? [other factors will finally shape things above all the timing must be there for good or bad the period, sub periods etc must run for it to happen. As you move on in this subject you will read such things by a look at the chart itself, experience counts not books alone]

Any malefic in the 8th is normally not good but if it is part of YRY or it's Lord is well placed or 8th is well aspected can give good results in many forms say unexpected gains, claims from insurances, legacies, income from living in alien lands in tough conditions-weather, politically, ethnically etc.
