Here are the remedies for Maangalik Dosh for all Lagna. Following are the remedy numbers and remedy listed in front of it. Below it you will find Lagna and placement of Mars and accordingly remedy numbers are listed there.

Remedy Numbers.
(1) Recite Hanumaan Chaaleesa Daily
(2) Offer Prasaad to Lord Hanumaan Jee on Tuesday and distribute it.
(3) Offer "Sindoor Ka Cholaa" to Lord Hanumaan Jee on Tuesdays.
(4) Do Gayatri Paath
(5) Do Durgaa Paath
(6) Read Sundar Kaand from Raamaayan
(7) Keep Red Handkerchief
(8) Wear a silver ring (one piece without any joint)
(9) Wear Red Coral in Gold
(10) In Silver Bangle (Kadaa), engrave copper RAM on it and wear it.
(11) Give Red Colored Silver Bangles to your wife and let your wife wear it.
(12) Offer food to Monkeys
(13) Give Sweet Chapaatee to dogs
(14) Distribute sweet dishes / food in any temple
(15) Offer sugar in flowing water
(16) Offer honey or/and Sindoor in flowing water
(17) Make a weak wall and then destroy it
(18) Keep a servant in office and home

Most of the above remedies are Saatwik in nature, however one may take advice of professional astrologer / Senior Members / Gurus before performing any remedies.

Mars Dosh will also lead to delay in marriages for which there are various remedies that have been suggested like
lighting of a lamp (with the skin of a lemon) on Tuesdays during Raahu Kaalam (approx. 3 pm to 4:30 pm local time assuming sunrise is at 6 am and sunset is at 6 pm; if sunrise – sunset timings differ, you should calculate the proportional part of the day – divide the duration of day into 8 parts, and Raahu Kaal on Tuesdays will fall in the 7th part) in honor of Durgaa Devee, undertaking Holy Fast on Tuesdays, propitiating Lord Skand (Kaarttikeya), etc.

Apart from that a Maantrik remedy is also there in which a particular Mantra is to be chanted and the native has to circumambulate the Poojaa place anti-clockwise during the process. But this Maantrik remedy can be done only on a personal visit of the native, and we cannot divulge it in a public forum as this is not known even to many Vaidik Pandit.

Kuja Dosh doesn't apply when Mars in the 12th House and if the 12th house is Sagittarius, (yours is Virgo). But in your Navaamsha, Mars moves into 5th house and in Leo, so that is a good indication where Mars is concerned. I would say that your marriage will come during the periods of June 16, 2005 to December 31, 2008. This is most likely because you are right now in Raahu Mahaa-dasha, and during this time you will be in Mercury Bhukti period, and since the 7th Lord of marriage Mars is located in Virgo, which is ruled by Mercury and conjunct Rahu. This time is strong for marriage possibilities because it will activate the significations of Mars, your 7th house lord. Next good period for marriage is from end of June 2009 to end of January 2012, whereby you will be running Venus Bhukti, and since Venus aspects your 7th house, and rules your 7th house in Navaansha and also is the Star Lord of your 7th house in the birth chart, this is a very favorable time for marriage.

Mercury is located in 10th house conjunct Jupiter. So you will find a foreign husband will lead to life in a foreign land and be beneficial for career advancement.

The Mars factor or the Mangal Dosh, is responsible for many marriages breaking, and for many lovers not being able to marry, or for those already married but not divorced couples, facing extreme compatibility problems.
Mars in Aries Lagna.

Mars in 1st house or Aries sign (Aries Ascendant) - Remedies
(1) Keep a red handkerchief with you.
(2) Go to the zoo sometimes and feed the monkeys, and if they are found near your house, then no need to go to the Zoo.
(3) Give sweets to your sister or any girl (Guest or relative's daughter) who comes to your Home.
(4) Make a sweet Tandoori Rotee and feed dogs with the same.
(5) Wear a Red Coral in a gold or copper ring.

[General Rule to wear Coral for Mars (the above rule is specific) - 5.5 carats or 6 carats. Ring finger in a silver ring on a Tuesday morning within one hour of Sunrise when the day Nakshatra is of Maghaa, Chitraa or Dhanishthaa. Mars or Mangal Dosh is specially related to spoiling the domestic peace at Home. Where is the domestic environment seen in a Chart? From the 4th house. In the Natal Chart as well as in this chart about which remedy we were talking, who is the Lord of the 4th House and what is the sign ? It is Cancer and the Lord is Moon. Which is why silver is to be used. When silver is used, automatically one more factor related to peace at home is taken in account and cared for, without doubly going in for another remedy. This is like shooting two targets with one weapon.

The ring finger is chosen because Sun and Mars are friendly and not because Sun gets Exalted in Mars. We are looking here for the comfort of the Mars Gem Coral, and not for the attributes of the Sun, because we are concerned and talking of Mars Dosh here.

I will not advise silver ring for an Aries individual, unless The Moon in the nativities chart signifies benefic results. Now the theory of Pratioolvad would just follow the ownership that is Lordship of Moon of 4th house to decide that it is benefic. I would not decide so as per Nakshara theory taught by my Gurus.

For example if Moon signifies the 8th house strongly then wearing a silver ring would prove detrimental to the natives mother's health, if he starts wearing the same. These are advanced theories, which may not find affirmation from the traditional approach commonly adhere to.

But if Moon signifies the 2nd house, then it would bring in wealth through Mother, Land and property, ones education. In that case I would strongly opt the native war a Silver ring.

QUES - (1) Regarding taking Moon's ownership and placement for choice of Silver Coral Ring would you likewise suggest the same for All the other Ascendants as well?
ANS - Yes not only for Moon, but for every Planet, I would check its placement, ownership, Lordship, and constellation ownership, before suggesting any Gem.]

QUES - (2) Would it be just "safer" to make use of Gold or Copper Coral Rings instead for All Ascendants?
ANS - No it may not be safe completely , because for certain Ascendants the Sun may be the Lord of the 8th House, or the Moon may be the Lord of the 8th House, or Jupiter may be the Lord of 8th house, or the 12th Houses, in that case, one would use discretion before suggesting metals for use, Copper, Silver, or Gold respectively. There is no fixed rule as such, which can be adjudged as right for every Ascendant. There are many factors and reasons for suggesting gems, for example, wealth, health, promotion, etc and wearing any Gem, may always trigger of negative part also, apart from what is required, due to Dual results.

Mars in 4th House or Cancer sign (Aries Ascendant)
Do not take wealth or gifts from any person who has no children. Keep servant in Office and at Home. Feed monkeys. Do not stay in a house which has South facing door.

--Moon does not give malefic results for everyone.
--If Moon is malefic, wearing gem Pearl, or using its metal silver are two separate matters. Again keeping silver on person and keeping silver in house are two separate matters.
--For those who have been advised not to wear Pearl or silver, keeping silver in house does not matter, because we are not the only person in the family. But yes, it must not be kept in the bedroom for instance when we ask a person not to use ivory, it means he should not keep any ivory artifact in his bedroom too. But generally silver or Moon is not to be considered as Malefic unless for instance its a functional malefic for the Leo Lagna, being the 12th Lord also, its not good for me being a Leo, to unnecessary increase its power, more so when I have Moon opposing the Sun in my chart ( Born on Full Moon), I would be rather rendering my Sun malefic if I increase the cool Moon's strength in my chart. If Moon is in the constellation whose owner too is malefic for a particular Lagna, as in my case, then all the more one must avoid wearing its gem or using its metal. But appease moon through other ways like Mantras, or donating white articles on Monday, or being good and affectionate to ones Mother.

Other Remedies
(1) Gayatri Mahaa Mantra is the most powerful Mantra and can remove any ill effect, irrespective of planetary Dosh. It is used for purification of soul. Soul once purified, it becomes Divyaatmaa and for such a soul has no planetary Dosh. Gayatri Maha Mantra Jap is more than sufficient to ward of all evils including Maangalik Dosh. Maanglik Dosh is an evil effect caused due to bad positioning of Mars in the native chart. Gaayatree is powerful Mantra and can ward of these Dosh.

In addition,
fast on Tuesday, Sankashti Chaturthee,
pray Lord Ganesh everyday, chant his Sankatnaashan Stotra - "Pranamya Shirasaa Devam Gauree putram Vinaayakam...." 21 times a day,
chant Mangal Graha Mantra regularly, do donate some alms for poor children.
These things will reduce ill effect of your Mangal Dosh.

(2) Praying to Hanumaan with Hanumaan Chaaleesaa and other Hanumaan Mantra protects the native from the evil of planet Mars.
(3) Recitation of Angaarak Ashtottar Shat Naamaavalee (The 108 names of Mars) is also suggested.
